Adding Layers

Layers are various types of datasets you can upload to the gIQ platform. The Explore module allows you to select and visualize the layers. However, to upload datasets to the gIQ platform, you must use the Upload feature.

To upload the layers, do the following:

  1. Login to the platform.

  2. Click the Upload button.

    The File Upload dialog is displayed.

  3. In the File Upload dialog, do one of the following:

    1. Click the Browse button, select a file from your local computer.
    2. Drag and drop the file in the dotted area.

  4. Click the Location icon to select a specific location on the map for the selected file.

  1. Click the Upload button to upload the file to the platform.

  1. Click the Explore module and verify that the dataset was successfully uploaded to the platform.
